You will find Hoddlesden Village a few miles to the south of Blackburn and just east of Darwen, Lancashire. If you take the Ewood Park turning off the M65 and follow Eccleshill, turn right at the next roundabout and follow the road under the motorway. Follow the road round to the left over the railway bridge, just past the railway bridge there is a speed camera - watch out. Then there is a very sharp hairpin bend round to the left. Continue up this road until you come to a T Junction at the Punch Bowl Inn, Pothouse. Turn right here and go to the cross roads. Hoddlesden is left at the crossroads, at the bottom of the hill. You can park anywhere in the village, there is always room. If you are looking for the Millennium Green, you will need to go to the bottom of the hill and bear right up Long Hey Lane. It is best to do this on foot as parking is limited to disabled people only. There is a kissing gate on your right and a sign to welcome you to the Green. We hope you enjoy your visit. |
